Mutual Aid Ice Rescue Drill.                                                                            < Back To Photos On a frigid (6 Degrees) Sunday Netcong Fire department, Stanhope Fire Department, Stanhope-Netcong First Aid, Byram Twp. Fire Department, and Allamuchy Fire Department headed to Lake Musconetcong where they tuned their ice rescue skills. Personnel took turns going through stations of self rescue, Rescue Alive Sled rescues and Marsars Shuttle rescues.  With the spill way next to where the drill was held, an additional station was set up towards the end of the drill to practice open water rescue operations.  New comers were brought out to experience what is was like to fall through the ice In all about 40 emergency personnel participated.  All were invited back to the Stanhope Fire house after for a drill debriefing and a warm meal.
